Welcome Students!

Hello and Welcome to Lehmann 356!

We are glad that you are interested in our Internet Writing Class. We hope that it will be useful and fun for you. This is the first time we have done an Internet-based class at Lehmann, so it is a little bit of an experiment. You can help us make it a success! Your part in this class is clear: make a commitment to checking this page at least 2 times each week. Once a week, write a paragraph for us. Also, at least once a week, read some of your classmates' writing, and write a little bit in response to your classmates. They will appreciate your comments, and I'm sure you will appreciate theirs.

Our responsibility to you is to post a new writing assignment each week, with some helpful instructions about how to write well in English. When you write us a paragraph, we will respond to you in an email. We will also post small comments on the class page that everyone can read.

For this week, please post a short comment to introduce yourself. Tell us a little bit about yourself (like where you are from, what kind of job you have, etc.). Also, please tell us your #1 problem writing in English. Is it organization? Putting in supporting details? Poor grammar? Tell us what you need help with so we will know what to focus on.
